I live on my family forest with my husband Dennis, on 90 acres in the Little White Salmon River valley which has been in my family for nearly 70 years. Our forest becomes more andmore important to us each day.

After began my career with the US Federal Bureau of Narcotics followed by 26 years with  Battelle PNW National Laboratory. I moved back to my home place to be the Port District Executive Director. Now semi-retired and working with my husband at our R&D DoD business I volunteer extensively; including with our local fire department, the NSA Regional Economic Development Board, I am our WFFA Mt Adams Chapter treasurer, I am a County Planning Commissioner, President of our local School District Board of Directors, and Secretary for the Washington Tree Farm Program Committee. I am a 25-year (retired) State F&W Hunter Education Instructor, retired NRA handgun instructor, and former National Rural Community Assistance Council board member.

I am a grandmother of six between the ages of 10 and 16, so I spend time on the road visiting.
