Report on July 2025 Meeting
Joyce Carpenter shared her family’s woods near Belfair with a walking tour to see native medicinal plants growing naturally in her woodlands (and ours) and explain the medicinal uses for each. Attendees shared a potluck lunch.
Report on May 2025 meeting:
On May 24th, the Chapter enjoyed lunch at the Fairmont Restaurant in Port Angeles before heading to the Elwha Dam Interpretative Center, followed by a visit to the Lower Dam Restoration site on Lake Aldwell. Noelle, Stewart, and Joe Ferguson presented information about how the area has changed since the dams were removed, the return of fish, and the various plants that were planted to retain soil and prevent erosion.
