2019 ANNUAL SUMMER POTLUCK PICNIC
 
WHAT: Annual Potluck picnic, and a tour of The Cylde Tree Farm, owned by Helen Daly and 15 family members.
Helen and Drew oversaw a thorough thinning of 104 acres, harvested areas of root rot. and built roads in 2017, which opened up their forest and retained its beauty while creating a healthier environment for the trees.
 
WHEN:  July 20th, Saturday, Noon – 4…..
 
WHERE:
Near Silverdale. From the North: From Highway 3 take the Trigger Avenue Exit. Turn right onto Trigger Avenue. At the stop light, turn left and follow the road to the next traffic light and turn right onto Anderson Hill Road. (Service station on the corner.) Go 2 miles, take a right on Williamette Meridian Drive (north). (If go down a steep hill, you’ve gone to far.) Go beyond the cross street Ioka Drive to the first gate on the left. Enter and park. Watch for WFFA sandwich board signs.
 
From the South: 
From Highway 3, take Newberry Hill exit, turn left at the light onto Newberry Hill Road. Go under the freeway and over railroad tracks. Turn right at the stop light onto Provost. Follow Provost to Anderson Hill road, and turn right onto Anderson Hill Road. Go 2 miles, take a right on Williamette Meridian (north). Go beyond the cross street Ioka Drive to the first gate on the left. Enter and park. Watch for WFFA sandwich board signs.
 
OTHER DETAILS: 
For the potluck, bring a small salad or desert and a serving utensil if needed. Also bring a chair. We have a few extras, but not many.Grilled chicken, water and soft drinks will be provided, as will paper plates, napkins, and plastic utensils. 
 
After the picnic, there will be a tour of the tree farm.
