WHAT:  NE WFFA WINTER MEETING  A fantastic opportunity to learn more about being good stewards.  All North Central Chapter members and non-members are welcome to attend.

WHEN: TIME: 8 am to 4.
SOCIAL HOUR begins at 0800 (please, not before)
 NE chapter will provide coffee, pastries

The main topic will be based around road building and maintenance:

Bernie Jones, DNR Forest Practices, Roads division Topic: Nuts and Bolts of road construction from FPA to layout to construction to maintenance.

Laurie Cox, Administrator of 3F2P program, DNR SFLO office-Olympia, Topic: What is 3F2P (Family Forest Fish Passage Program (FFFPP): how does it work and how to apply for it

Dean Hellie, SCCD Administrator, Topic: The role of SCCD in the implementation of approved 3F2P projects. Literally helping landowners get the project completed.

Jared Harms from Stevens county Fire Dist #1 presenting on the topic: Fire Wise , How to protect your home during wild fire season.  NFPA's Firewise program teaches people how to adapt to living with wildfire and encourages neighbors to work together and take action now to prevent losses.
