On Thursday, September 3, Thurston County Superior Court Judge Schaller granted a stay which will remain in effect “until the conclusion of the appeals process and/or order from a higher court. While the Expanded Rule is stayed, the Original Rule shall remain in effect and have the full force of law.” Washington Forestry Protection Association and Washington Farm Forestry Association have entered an appeal to the ruling that was made on August 31.
