Forest Health Advisory Committee

The Forest Health Advisory Committee was formed on October 25, 2017, by Commissioner of Public Lands Hilary Franz, in response to legislation passed in 2017.  Its membership consists of representatives from government agencies, environmental groups, tribes, fire protection organizations, forest industry, and forest landowners.  Their goal is to develop and implement a framework to proactively and systematically address forest health issues facing the state.

Elaine Oneil represents WFFA on this committee.
