Washington State Fair in Puyallup Sept 1-24.
Each volunteer will get an entry ticket into the fair and potential parking (that is limited close to the entrance) but the Silver lot (on the corner of 10th St SW & 9th Ave SW) does have a shuttle to and from the entrance, the other parking lot is the teal lot and is just east of the gold gate on the south side of 9th Ave SE. This lot is small and gets full quickly.
The booth is in the EXPO hall the is under the Grandstand just inside the Gold Gate. You won’t be on your own, as other forestry interests are in that general area, including DNR and the Society of American Foresters.
If you want to volunteer to help at the booth just look for the "Volunteer Now" button on this page. The Volunteer Now button will take you to a form where you can select the date and time slot that you want to volunteer for. Some shifts are 3 hours and some are 3 hours, 30 minutes. We need two volunteers per shift. Again, volunteering will provide you with free entry to the fair and free parking.
