Washington Farm Forestry Association Update

A message from Rick Dunning:

To all of you who helped support House Bill 2505 last week with calls, emails and testimony at the House Natural Resource committee, "THANK YOU," it made a HUGE difference.

Now we need to focus on Senate Bill 6354.  This is the "save our tree farm" companion bill to HB 2505.  We hope to have a hearing in the Senate Natural Resource, Ocean and Recreation (NR,O&R) committee.  Please call the members of the committee in support of SB 6354.  If you did not call or email your legislators last week, please consider doing that now.  Any chance we have of moving this bill forward rests on our ability to raise this issue up in this committee.

Below are the phone numbers of the Senate NR, O&R committee members:   If you do not have time for all eight, just call four!   Please call each one today and leave your name, phone number, and that you are a member of the WFFA.   Then leave a short message in support of the tree farm bill, SB 6354.

Thanks and keep the support, the energy, and the prayers coming!

Rick Dunning, Executive Director, WFFA Ph.360.736.5750
