Northern Spotted Owl Implementation Committee
More than 20 years ago, the northern spotted owl was listed under the Endangered Species Act as a threatened species in Washington, Oregon, and California. In 2010 the Northern Spotted Owl Implementation Committee was formed. It consists of 9 members representing Washington Department of Natural Resources, Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife, forest industry (2 representatives), conservation caucus (2 representatives), a land trust and small forest landowners.
Vic Musselman represents WFFA on this committee.
