Keeping Family Forests and Farms in the
Family
A
2-part workshop will be held Dec. 5 and Dec. 12, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Museum
in Chehalis.
This
workshop will explore Succession Planning and the human side of estate
planning. It will focus on:
- Maintaining family ties to the land from
generation to generation
- Building awareness of the key challenges
facing family businesses
- Motivating families to address the
challenges
This DVD-based, interactive,
facilitated workshop provides effective tools families can use to
decide the future of their land and land-based businesses. Learn the
techniques and communications skills needed to address the tough issues.
Workshop fee
of $75 per family includes a copy of the workbook and DVD, Ties to the Land: Your Family Forest Heritage,
designed to help families improve and focus their communications at
home. Extra workbooks are $25 each.

The Veterans
Memorial Museum
is located just off I-5 at Exit 77. Go west of the freeway 150 feet
(to the second stoplight) and turn south on Riverside. Go 1/3 mile to Veterans Way
and turn left (east) to the Museum.
