Changes for FY 2008-2009
- Increase in thinning and slash disposal rates.
- Elimination of planting and seedling protection
practices (per direction from FS).
- Eligibility of non-federal public lands when
agency owns over 5000 forested acres, with proviso that any one agency
can receive no more than $50,000 per federal fiscal year.
- All of Skamania
County is now
included in the geographic area covered by the program.
As in the past, applications
submitted on forms from previous years will continue to be accepted.
