WASHINGTON FARM FORESTRY ASSOCIATION

WHAT: A tour of Chuck Chambers Tree Farm – Copalis Crossing Unit. Part of this 25-year-old plantation was commercially thinned this spring. Another part was clearcut due to extensive bear damage. Chuck is a long-time forester and tree farmer who will provide all the facts and figures about the operation, plus some opinions.
ALSO: A brief business meeting and election of officers of the Grays Harbor Chapter of WFFA.
WHERE: From the town of Copalis Crossing, take Kirkpatrick Road north about one-half mile. The tree farm is on both sides of the road.
WHO: WFFA members and any relatives, friends, neighbors, interested, likeminded or forestry oriented folks are welcome.
